L.A. gas price tops SF

That's saying something (SF is usually a shade above L.A.). The government's latest survey has the average price of self-serve unleaded running at $4.418 in the Los Angeles area, compared with $4.415 in Frisco and $4.325 a gallon statewide. The U.S. average is $4.039. The good news is that the price of crude fell $4.19, to $134.35 a barrel. Of course, we've seen those drops before. (LAT, EIA)
