It might mean something or it might mean nothing, but for what it’s worth Tribune COO Randy Michaels was seen at the LAT yesterday. We're told he was meeting with publisher David Hiller and other honchos. We don’t normally do sight ’ems, and his visit might be totally routine, but there has been all kinds of speculation in the newsroom about possible cuts/changes/adjustments - take your pick. So his appearance has received some attention.
