Ten minutes before the markets open, here's the headline from AP:

Stocks Set for Dizzying Fall as Recession Fears Flare, Dow, S&P 500 Futures Plunge by Max. Amount Allowed

The real question is whether anyone starts buying after the early bloodshed.

*After 30 minutes, the Dow is down 330 - better than some had expected, but still pretty bad. What concerns some traders is that there is not enough selling, which would help cleanse out the system and lead to that long-awaited "capitulation," when sellers become buyers.
