


Chapman University's leading employment indicator index fell for the 10th consecutive quarter. That points to a worsening jobs picture over the next six months. The index is now at 83.5, a sharp drop from the last survey and the lowest level since the first quarter of 1992. Anything below 100 means higher jobs losses. (Business Journal, OC Register)
