Prices had been stabilizing in the $60-$70 range, but there are new worries about weaker demand. If those prices keep falling – at last check crude was trading at $57.34, a 20-month low - expect the nosedive in gas prices to continue a while. This week's government survey, released on Monday, had the average price of regular in the L.A. area at $2.63 a gallon, but it's quite a bit lower at many locations.
