Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to name City Controller Laura Chick as inspector general, with responsibility for handling all that federal money coming into the state. Rick Orlov at the Daily News reports that the announcement will be made this afternoon. Chick will assume her new post on April 27. City Councilwoman Wendy Greuel, who was elected controller in the March election, will take over in July.
