'You're killing me Larry'

For fans of Irwin the Accountant, some sad news. Gardena mattress retailer Sit `n Sleep is phasing out Irwin, who would always have a conniption when the prices got too low. A new ad campaign has adjusted the tagline to "You're killing us, Larry" and it's being delivered by a bunch of mattress dust mites (cheaper scale?). From the Daily Breeze:

The new TV and radio spots inform consumers that a mattress doubles in weight after eight years from a buildup of sweat, body oil and dust mites. Yuck! And that is the kind of reaction that could get consumers rushing to the nearest Sit `n Sleep. The new ads are "definitely a campaign to educate the consumer," [Sit `n Sleep President Larry Miller] explained.
