Today's news of massive cuts at Forbes - including the shuttering of the L.A. bureau - is not the only wave of cost-cutting at the business magazines. Time Inc., publisher of Fortune and Money, is expected to announce next week that it will cut $100 million, including another big round of layoffs (here's the NYT story). That, of course, is in addition to the big layoffs a year ago. Then there's Business Week, which is in the process of being purchased by Bloomberg and might or might not see major trims (lots of mixed signals on that one).
