Stocks take big hit

With a few minutes to go, the Dow is down more than 200 points. Just lots of lousy news - a big drop in September car sales (the end of the cash for clunkers program clearly had an impact), worse-than-expected manufacturing numbers, and the prospects of a weak jobs report tomorrow morning. Maybe Wall Street is finally catching up to reality.
