Tiger Woods coverage

The Orlando Sentinel has led the way this afternoon in covering the golf great's car crash early this morning right outside his Florida home. That it's gotten this much attention says a lot about celebrity, voyeurism (get on the Web if you don't know what I mean), and the fact that there's so little other news today. The Sentinel is a Tribune Co. paper, so the LAT has been piggybacking quite effectively (news partnerships may be about saving money, but they can also be helpful). Anyway, the latest word is that Woods' wife used a golf club to smash a window of his Cadillac Escalade and get her injured husband out of the SUV (almost too good to be true). From the Sentinel:

A call report compiled by the Orange County Sheriff's Office and obtained by the Orlando Sentinel indicated Woods was unconscious but breathing when officers arrived on the scene. Woods was unconscious for about six minutes.
