Big Toyota recall

All told, 2.3 million U.S. vehicles are involved, including these models:

--2009-2010 RAV4
--2009-2010 Corolla
--2009-2010 Matrix
--2005-2010 Avalon
--2007-2010 Camry
--2010 Highlander
--2007-2010 Tundra
--2008-2010 Sequioia.

The recall is to correct sticking accelerator pedals. This follows a 4.2 million-vehicle recall because of pedals getting stuck due to insecure floor mats. From Reuters:

Toyota said its own investigation in recent months had found that some accelerator pedals on those Toyota brand models might stick in a partially depressed position or return slowly to idle. The problems could occur when the pedal mechanism becomes worn, it said.
