
The airline has been a kind of renegade in offering free meals to coach customers, but that ends this fall. Only domestic flights lasting more than 6 hours (not many of those) and international routes will be covered. Even that is better than what most of the other carriers provide. For shorter flights, Continental will start charging. All told, the company will be saving $35 million a year. (USA Today)
