Tweeting and organizing

The latest effort by Idealab impresario Bill Gross is something called TweetUp, which is basically a Twitter search engine that sorts through and arranges Tweets by name, subject matter or whatever. The idea, says Gross, is to bring some sort of order to the Twitter World (it's next to impossible to catalog items). The new venture, which has raised $3.5 million from a group of investors, will also involve auction-based advertising. Gross spoke to Boomtown's Kara Swisher at Idealab's Pasadena headquarters.
