At least when compared with, say, London's West End where office space last year went for $183 a square foot. That makes it the world's most expensive office market, according to an annual survey by CB Richard Ellis. In second place was Hong Kong's central business district, at $153. Midtown Manhattan was in 26th place at $64.51. Doesn't look like L.A. made the list, but county office rents averaged $31.20 in the first quarter. Sought-after addresses run in the mid-$50s (LAT)
