More cheating on sports tickets

This time it's not Antonio Villaraigosa, but NY Gov. David Paterson. New report says that the governor misled state investigators by testifying that he had intended to pay for free World Series tickets last year. He only paid for his son and son's friend after reporters started asking questions. The new findings largely back up the state's Commission on Public Integrity. From the NYT:

At a minimum, portions of Mr. Paterson's testimony "were inaccurate and misleading," the report concluded, and "warrants consideration of possible criminal charges by the district attorney, who will make the ultimate decision regarding whether or not charges should be brought."

Just prohibit elected officials from attending big sporting events and be done with it.
