Tina Brown after Newsweek job?

Fishbowl NY says she's "gunning for the editor-in-chief position at the struggling newsweekly. No comment from Brown, which could indicate there's something to this (easy enough to just say I'm not interested). Obviously, a lot would be depend on her contractural status at The Daily Beast, where she is editor. Current Newsweek Editor Jon Meacham said he'll step down as soon as new owner Sidney Harman finds a replacement. For what it's worth, Brown was in the hunt for the ME position at Time several years back.
