Worst cities to find a cheap hotel

In case anyone is considering a late-summer vacation. From a survey by consulting firm HRG (h/t Business Insider)

These figures can be a little misleading because the survey is for corporate travelers who are less likely to book their reservations at, say, Flippy's Flophouse. The average daily room rate in L.A. County is running around $140, but that covers all hotels. some of which have unusual interpretations of the words "fresh sheets." if you're looking at just Bev Hills, it's around $360.
