Excessive delays at LAX

The FlightStats delay index is at 4.75 (that's on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the worst). There's still nothing coming in from much of the Northeast, and at last check, no flights going out. But flights to and from other cities are being impacted as well, since aircraft travel to any number of locations during a single day. So a flight from Phoenix to L.A. could be delayed because the Dallas-Phoenix run was delayed after the NY-Dallas flight was canceled. No matter where you're going, it's best to check on flight status.
