Free tickets for health care breakfast

How about building a health care system on the successful model of Social Security? The idea is to provide universal coverage through a federally financed and privately-delivered program that's paid for in part by a payroll tax. Philip Bredesen, founder and CEO of HealthAmerica Corporation, a public managed care company, lays out his plan at the Drucker Business Forum. Session is tomorrow morning at KPCC's Crawford Family Forum (474 South Raymond Avenue in Pasadena). He'll be interviewed by LAT columnist David Lazarus. Breakfast is at 7:45; conversation is 8:30. I have a few free tickets; email me at marklacter@aol.com.
