End of the world is tomorrow - can I have your house?

It's one of those good news/bad news things. Good news is that you get into heaven tomorrow and avoid the dreaded Judgment Day. Bad news is you have to unload all your stuff - you know, cars, houses, jewelry, etc. Apparently, there's been plenty of action on Craigslist sites around the country. Here's one ad from OC (via Curbed LA):

Are you one of the fortunate ones that will be taken up on May 21st's Rapture? Will you be leaving behind a home that might serve another unfortunate individual who won't be leaving?

Let us unburden you of the worry of what will happen to that home. Contact us to quickly transfer the deed to your home into the name of someone less fortunate than you. There is scant time left, and your faith is giving you the opportunity to help someone even as you are saved yourself.

We will be privileged to help someone who is being saved help another who will not. Simply reply to this post to start the process. But don't wait - time is of the essence. Contact us today before you have left this earthly plane behind.

Rapture stories are all over the place today. Here's one from the NYT:

The three teenagers have been struggling to make sense of their shifting world, which started changing nearly two years ago when their mother, Abby Haddad Carson, left her job as a nurse to "sound the trumpet" on mission trips with her husband, Robert, handing out tracts. They stopped working on their house and saving for college. Last weekend, the family traveled to New York, the parents dragging their reluctant children through a Manhattan street fair in a final effort to spread the word. "My mom has told me directly that I'm not going to get into heaven," Grace Haddad, 16, said. "At first it was really upsetting, but it's what she honestly believes."

At first it was really upsetting...?
