Final network rankings for 2010-2011

CBS was tops in total viewers, followed by Fox, ABC, and NBC. But all the networks, with the exception of Univision, lost viewers - even with big-tent draws like "American Idol" and the Super Bowl. NBC took a huge hit. One more thing: The median age is skewing old - ABC is at 61, CBS 55, NBC 49, and Fox 45. Younger folk (many of them in that coveted 18-49 bracket) are choosing non-network alternatives, and that's really the important story. From
