Spirit Airlines is offering the deal, which runs until tomorrow night at 11:59 p.m. Of course, there is a catch: In order to take advantage of the low fare, you need to enroll in the Spirit $9 Fare Club, which costs $59.95 but allows you to take advantage of special fares for 12 months. That is, if you can find the specials. I ran into a bunch of unhappy customers on several travel sites - turns out that the specials are often not available (and apparently it's not that easy to get a refund). The $9 club has been around for several years - and so have the complaints. By the way, the $9 is based on a roundtrip purchase and does not include all taxes and fees.
