For whatever its worth, Santa Monica Boulevard between Century City and the 405 is unusually quiet - as is the 405 itself (usual congestion around Wilshire but then it clears up through the pass). Maybe commuters wanted an early start leaving the Westside. I'm getting holiday-light vibes.
