Airlines, cable companies and electric utilities make up most of the bottom 15, according to the American Consumer Satisfaction Index (via Business Insider). What do they have in common? Limited, if any, competition. It makes a difference. Also on the list are LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

The Long Island utility came under fire for its handling of outages from Hurricanes Irene and Sandy.
