Seagulls usually seem so stern - that hard stare, the hooked beak, feathers as precise as a dress uniform. And then there's this gull, balanced on the shade netting of a seafood joint in San Pedro. You can see bones and cartilage through the translucent webs of its feet. Fascinating, and a wee bit goofy..Seagull feet
