First, have you noticed that the site loads a lot faster these days, including videos? That's because Kevin, creator, owner, and head honcho of LA Observed, which allows this little blog tag along, has done all sorts of tech updates. So, yay!

Also in yay! -- the new puppy! She's in the video below, the one with the pink collar. Her name is Teddy, which my mom liked best of all the possibilities. The new puppy will be here sometime after the 15th, weather permitting. She's Daisy's half-sister, and everyone here (well, I can't speak for Walt, whose placid world is about to come apart at the seams) can't wait to meet her.
