The Times is swarming

Ten different L.A. Times staff writers have bylines on recall stories today, including a rare double triple. Can't honestly say I've read them all, but I doubt there's a better quote than this one Republican Dan Schnur uses to illustrate why no big names have committed to run yet.

"This is the scene at the OK Corral, right before the first cowboy grabs his gun. They're all standing in the corral with their fingers hovering just above their weapons. And as soon as the first person draws, bullets will start flying in every direction."

The story includes Feinstein among the cowboys playing this game of chicken.

11:30 Update: First thing this morning Feinstein said she's out. Her statement.
