Fathers and sons

Christopher Scheer, the son of regular anti-Bush contributor Robert Scheer, shows up on the L.A. Times op-ed page today arguing that the Administration is "waging the wrong war in the wrong way." The Scheers and Lakshmi Chaudhry are co-authors of the The Five Biggest Lies Bush Told Us About Iraq, out this month from AlterNet via Seven Stories Press and Akashic Books. The book is being feted in December at Arianna Huffington's Brentwood digs by, among others, Barbra Streisand and James Brolin, Stanley and Betty Sheinbaum, Norman and Lyn Lear and Geoffrey Cowan and Aileen Adams.

Arianna's house in December should be about as kooky on the left as a meeting of klanners & nazis would be kooky on the right. Ugh.

Presumably you mean without the Holocaust, the lynchings, the terrorism and bad haircuts.
