The HahnsJim Hahn — I'll have to check, but I believe he is the mayor of Los Angeles — makes a rare public appearance on Saturday in San Pedro. He will preside as his sister, Janice Hahn, takes the oath for her second term on the city council. The festivities are scheduled for Berth 93 at the port's Cruise Ship Promenade. Starting time is 11 a.m.

Also: It had been awhile since I visited Councilmember Hahn's official website. For the record, her testimony as a Christian at last fall's Billy Graham Crusade is no longer on the front page. It has moved to the press release archives.
