The LA Weekly's Nikki Finke gave a low score to Michael Kinsley's tenure at the LAT, and it turns out Kinsley is no fan of hers either. He writes in a letter to Romenesko that his favorite passage in her latest column "is this one, scolding me for moving too fast. 'Normally, any change at a newspaper happens slowly amid much careful thought and laborious planning so as not to upset subscribers.' It's a pity that Finke finds the torrid pace of change at the LA Times so upsetting, since she is the only person to have noticed it." He describes Finke as hard to please and says she has "odd views."

* Full text: In the unedited version at the LA Weekly website, Kinsley calls Finke an idiot and a fuddy-duddy.
