Neighbors describe Joseph Radisich as a helpful Mr. Nice Guy and love that he lives upstairs. Problem is, as David Zahniser reports in today's Daily Breeze, those neighbors are in Manhattan Beach and Radisich is required to live in Los Angeles to be Mayor Villaraigosa's appointee to the Board of Harbor Commissioners. Radisich says he lives now in San Pedro, but won't discuss the status of his duplex in Manhattan Beach. The city charter requires that harbor commissioners live in L.A. and that Radisich's seat be filled by someone who resides in the port area.

* Saturday story: Radisich tells the Breeze he has moved his bed and phone number to his San Pedro condo and will rent out the Manhattan Beach duplex. 7/30
