I left LA for Chicago why?The anonymous blogger at Los Angeles City Nerd says that Councilman Bernard Parks hosted a Monday Night Football viewing party starting at 4 pm yesterday in the "media room" at City Hall. "I'm all for inter-office team building, but maybe it should be done at a private venue and not in City Hall?," the blogger writes. "And even moreso, it was the 5th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001 - was this the best way to commemorate that fateful day?"
