Sipchen on the Times

Bob Sipchen left the L.A. Times last month after working as an education columnist, editorial writer (where he won a Pulitzer Prize) and founding editor of both the Current and Outdoor sections, neither of which exist any more. He talks about the paper and the future on Deadline L.A. today at noon on KPFK (90.7 FM.) Sipchen is now editor of the Sierra Club's magazine.

Also on the air:
Also at noon, KPCC's Off-Ramp goes to the new downtown Ralphs and to a real pit barbecue with Times food writer Charles Perry. 89.3 FM
NBC4 News Conference on Sunday at 9 am has Larry Flynt, Larry Elder and Michael Josephson talking about politicians and adultery.
My LA Observed commentary on KCRW this week focused on Cardinal Roger Mahony and the sex abuse scandal in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. Read or listen here.
