Baby boom at the City Council

Councilman Jose Huizar and his wife Ricchelle welcomed Simon Luis Huizar at 3:10 am. The baby was delivered at Arcadia Methodist Hospital weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 20 inches. Simon was named after the councilman's late father. The Huizars also have two daughters, Emilia, 6, and Isabella, 3. Earlier this month, Councilman Richard Alarcon and his wife, Flora, had a girl.
