City HallIn the latest installment of the LA Observed Script Project, Los Angeles mayor Russell Napolitano rushes from comforting a semi-grieving widow in Malibu to the scene of a homicide at Chateau Marcella at the corner of Franklin and Bronson. There, another corpse has turned up with its mouth stuffed full of, mysteriously, peat. Then another character — wearing the insignia of The Order, a group that sends chills down the mayor's spine — turns up dead. "What do you know," says Mayor Napolitano’s medical examiner pal, Hendricks. "It’s raining bodies." Eric Estrin examines the story's new turn, and blogs about this week''s winner of an LA Observed Script Project T-shirt, Michael Breiburg, in the Script Notes.
