Brendan Huffman, president of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association since early 2006, said he plans to resign at the end of the year. "I'm just ready for something else, and that's the God's honest truth. I've put a lot of energy and passion into this job," he told the LAT's David Zahniser. Huffman is the husband of Board of Education Tamar Galatzan, who has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the City Council seat in the Valley currently held by Wendy Greuel.
