Councilman Tom LaBonge introduced a motion asking Chick and Delgadillo to call a cease-fire, but Chick issued a statement yesterday criticizing the council as well: "This is now a fight between the people of Los Angeles and their government. I will not back away from this fight, This is a battle that must be won for the taxpayer bringing full transparency and accountability to government."
