The office of Board of Public Works president Cynthia Ruiz sent an invitation to local fashion people inviting them to take part in a meeting on the city's role in September's "Fashion Night Out," in partnership with Vogue magazine. And now a few dozen recipients have each other's email addresses, among them designer Trina Turk, the L.A. Chamber's Gary Toebben and Downtown real estate player Hal Bastian. "I find it funny/sad that the mayor's office has not figured out how to BCC on an email," one of the recipients says — by email.
