Here's where Councilman Alarcon 'lives'

The Daily News sent photog Michael Owen Baker out to Nordhoff Street, where the neighbors are a tad upset with the condition of the house and yard where Councilman Richard Alarcon, his wife and young child purportedly live. The DA alleges he doesn't live there in Panorama City, but in Sun Valley in another City Council district, which if true makes him ineligible for office and possibly a felon. Well, we can see he hasn't been violating the city's watering ordinance.

"Although Alarcón, whose council salary is $178,789 a year, maintains he has lived in that house for years, the property is in shabby condition. It could use a coat of paint, and the landscaping is virtually nonexistent. Other than a few small palm trees and plants, the large front yard is covered in caked dirt and weeds," writes the DN's Tony Castro. Photo gallery
