Anchor shakeup at Telemundo's KVEA-52

ana_patricia_candiani2.jpgAna Patricia Candiani will be the new 6 p.m. weekday anchor on KVEA starting Jan 31. She will also contribute as an investigative reporter on the 11 p.m. show, "En Contexto." According to Veronica Villafañe at Media Moves, Candiani spent 14 years as a reporter and anchor at Telemundo and most recently had been freelancing at Univision Network. Her arrival bumps 6 p.m. anchor Azalea Iñíguez to weekends or reporting. Weekend anchor Maria García is headed back to the reporting side, the site says.
