'Charlie Rose' finds an L.A. home

charlie-rose-grab.jpgI keep being asked, now that KCET has lost its PBS programming: Where is "Charlie Rose?" Well, PBS SoCal announced today that Rose will begin airing on KOCE starting January 17 at midnight. In the meantime, Charlie airs on PBS station KVCR weeknights at 11:00 PM, and on KLCS digital channel 58.4 at midnight. View schedules.

They don't say so, but Rose is also now on Bloomberg TV. In Los Angeles that's on Time Warner channel 224, AT&T U-Verse 222, Verizon Fios 104, DirecTV 353 and Dish Network 203. I'm not sure of the local times; it is scheduled at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern time, so I assume that means three hours earlier here.

You can always catch any shows you miss online at the Charlie Rose website.

Meanwhile, on KCET: Tonight at 9 p.m. is a special "SoCal Connected" with Steve Lopez of the Times connecting with Marine Tim Gallagher and his family as he arrives back at Camp Pendleton after duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Promo below; video link
