KCET airs Al Jazeera show

All that new flexibility in the broadcast schedule can be a good thing. KCET today at 4 p.m. is airing Al Jazeera English News. It's the only station in Los Angeles to carry the AJE show. (We have a standing link to the Al Jazeera live feed on Egypt, good day or night.) KCET is running a four-hour block of news today with a heavy emphasis on Egypt. BBC World News anchored by Mike Embley aired at 3 p.m., followed by news from Israel at 3:30 and Al Jazeera's show at 4 p.m. There's a repeat of BBC's Embley at 5 p.m., Japan’s NHK Newsline at 5:30, then a live feed of BBC World News at 6 p.m.
