Starting on Monday, KCET will broadcast a daily one-hour block of morning newscasts from international sources. BBC World News will air Monday through Friday at 6 a.m., followed by Al Jazeera English News at 6:30. Encore broadcasts of BBC Newsnight will air Saturday and Sunday mornings at 6 a.m. During the Egypt crisis last month, KCET took advantage of the looseness in its schedule to add BBC and Al Jazeera English in the evenings (and AJE again at 11 p.m.)
