NPR staffers invade Los Angeles

nprlogo_138x46.gifScott Pelley isn't the only out-of-town news talent in L.A. this week. A bunch of NPR producers and other staffers have relocated temporarily to the NPR West studios in Culver City. They're here while a major equipment upgrade is completed in Washington, D.C. Facebook chatter says the key people from "Morning Edition," "Weekend Edition" and the weekend version of "All Things Considered" are all around the building. Hmm. Reunions with old friends + traveling expense accounts could equal a mini-boom at Culver City restaurants.
