Television

Six more hours of local TV news start this weekend *

serene-branson-kcbs.jpgkaj+goldberg+cbs2.jpgThe CBS 2 and KCAL duopoly launch new morning news shows this weekend with Serene Branson and Kaj Goldberg anchoring. The shows air Saturday from 7-8 a.m. on Channel 2, then switch over to Channel 9 from 8-10 a.m. On Sundays they go on at 6 a.m. on CBS 2, then move over to KCAL at 7 a.m.

It's possible that I will never see either show. But I wish them both good luck.

* Update: Couple of readers emailed to say the morning news shows actually debuted last weekend. Channel 2 sent out the announcement today.
