Top (and bottom) TV sports anchors or reporters per Hoffarth

curt+sandoval+head+cs.jpgCurt Sandoval of Channel 7 tops Daily News columnist Tom Hoffarth's annual list of the top 10 sports anchors and reporters on Los angeles television. "Last summer, he was close to leaving for the ABC affiliate in Denver. Then the Denver station was sold, management changed, and the job disappeared. 'To think I could have been covering Tebow is cool,' said Sandoval, who, this March, will hit the 25-year mark in his TV career." He is married to sportscaster Jeanne Zelasko. Next on Hoffarth's list, in order, are Jim Hill, Fred Roggin, Patrick O'Neal and John Ireland. Leading the bottom ten: Fox 11's Liz Habib.

patrickoneal+with+mom.jpgA feature story with the lists focuses on O'Neal, the Fox Sports West announcer who is the son of actor Ryan O'Neal and Leigh Taylor-Young, and who has two daughters with actress Rebecca De Mornay.
