NBC's telecast of the Stanley Cup winning game on Monday set a new record for a hockey game in the Los Angeles market, with a 13.6 local rating. (Duh.) Nationally, though, the game was down from last year's Game 6 in the Stanley Cup Final series, which involved teams from Boston and Vancouver. This year's Game 6, between the Kings and the New Jersey Devils, registered a 3.1 rating, down 3 percent from last season. Overall, the ratings for the final series were the lowest since the 2007 finals, when the Anaheim Ducks were in it.
