Time travel: Kelly Lange, Paul Moyer and Zzyzx

Harry Pallenberg, a longtime collaborator with Huell Howser, sent over this 1970s clip from Channel 4 of a feature story on the Mojave Desert community of Zzyzx. If you haven't been introduced to that sub-section of the SoCal lore chapter, it's interesting — and back then was not the often-told, evergreen story it is today. What I liked was seeing young (and I do mean young) versions of news anchors Kelly Lange and Paul Moyer and reporter Jim Brown — all former KNBC stalwarts.

Oops: I got Moyer and Tom Snyder confused. It's Moyer in the clip, I'm pretty sure.
