Flight from hell

Think you had trouble getting home yesterday? TACA International #670, coming in from El Salvador last night, had to be diverted to Ontario around midnight because of all the fog at LAX. That turned out to be a huge problem because local authorities wouldn't let passengers disembark (Sunday night, Ontario, customs - you could imagine). That led to a nine-hour stay on the Ontario tarmac. The plane finally took off just after 9 a.m. and landed at LAX 20 minutes later. (LAT)
