What's a recession among rich friends? Up for sale in Laguna Beach’s Emerald Bay area is a 6,000-square-foot house that just happens to be next to the one owned by the Oracle of Omaha. Purchase price is $13 million; the last time it changed hands was 1990, when the sale price was $1.7 million. You might recall that in 2005 Buffett sold another Emerald Bay property for $3.5 million (he had bought the place in 1996 for $1.05 million). Here's the OC Register post.
